Octopus Beak Hook #7 - 50PCS

Octopus Beak Hook #6 - 50PCS

• Brand: Long Benefit
• Style: Octopus Beak (also traditionally known as a suicide or bait hook)
• Size: 7/0 (A very large hook size, typically measuring roughly 2 to 2.5 inches in total length)
• Quantity: 50 pieces per pack
• Material: High-carbon steel / forged steel with a corrosion-resistant dark nickel or black chrome finish.

• Up-Turned / Bent Eye: The eyelet at the top is aggressively angled backward. This design is engineered specifically for snelling (a knotting technique where the line wraps directly down the shank), which forces the hook to pivot sharply and drive straight into the fish's mouth when you set the line.
• Offset Point (Reversed Bend): If you look at the hooks flat, the point does not line up perfectly with the shank—it twists slightly out to the side. This offset style drastically increases the "catch rate" because it exposes the point immediately to the flesh when a fish swallows the bait and turns.
• Short, Curved Shank: The rounded, compact shank keeps the profile low. This allows you to bury the hook deeply inside large chunk baits (like cut squid, mackerel fillets, or small baitfish) without a long metal shank sticking out to spook wary fish.
• Extremely Sharp Barbed Point: Features a chemically sharpened needlepoint matched with a deep barb, ensuring optimal penetration through tough, bony jaws and preventing the hook from throwing loose during a heavy fight.

• Large Catfish (Flatheads and Blues)
• Grouper, Snapper, and Cobia
• Sturgeon
• Sharks and rays
