Octopus Beak Hook #9 - 50PCS

Octopus Beak Hook #9 - 50PCS

• Brand: Long Benefit
• Model Style: Octopus Beak (often referred to as a suicide hook or beak hook)
• Size: 9/0 (Large-scale sizing suitable for substantial cut baits, live baits, and chunks)
• Quantity: 50 pieces per pack
• Material/Finish: High-carbon steel with a dark gunmetal / black nickel corrosion-resistant finish

• Up-Turned Eye: The eyelet is angled backward away from the point. This design is optimized for a snell knot, which ensures that pulling on the line forces the hook point to pivot directly into the fish’s mouth for a clean hookup.
• Offset Point: The hook point is slightly bent or twisted sideways out of plane with the shank. This ensures the point isn't masked by thick baits and improves the catch rate when a fish strikes.
• Beak Point & Curved Shank: The point curves slightly back inward toward the shank. This shape helps the hook hold securely in deep mouth tissues or jaws, preventing fish from throwing the hook during violent headshakes.
• Forged Shank: The wire is flattened along the bend to increase structural strength, keeping the hook rigid against bending under heavy loads.
